Thesis is devoted to the problems of adaptation to juveniles the measures of criminal and legal character, which are not connected to deprivation of liberty. Complex approach to studying the problems of adoptation punishment to juveniles helped to elaborate a system of measures of criminal and legal character, which are not connected to deprivation of liberty (including such new for Ukrainian legislation notions as "placement into foster family", "mediation", "probation"). It is proposed to make changes into Criminal Code of Ukraine in order to consolidate all measures of criminal and legal character, which can be adopted to juveniles, in one normative document.
