The Thesis is dedicated to improvement of the process of the braking electropneumatic brake drive, development to mathematical model, which allows together to solve the equations electro- and gas dynamic. The mathematical model on base of the method with concentrated parameter, offered by E.V. Hertz, was adapted by author for calculation relay-type electropneumatic brake drive. All-round explored functioning (working) the sidebar electropneumatic brake drive and cascade of the reinforcement of the modulator of the pressure. The perfection methods of the determination of the correspondence to of the modulator transport facility. They are generalized and elaborated requirements to steady-state feature by way of the entering the provision on-board unevenness of brake power according to rule EEK UNO. As a result theoretical and experimental studies were offered and marketed improvements in designs of the modulator of the pressure and in algorithm of management sidebar electropneumatic of the brake drive.
