Essay

The thesis is devoted to one of the first Eastern European literary monument memoir genre, “The Memoirs” of T. Jewlashewskij (1546-1619). Author of dissertation used modern methods of textual and historical and anthropological research to develop an approach to “decrypt” an indirect information of the source. Thesis deals with reconstruction of principles of Jewlashewskij's “author's laboratory”, which based on deep codicology and textual analysis. Also the stages of the author's work over the “Memoirs”, the possible range of literary examples and sources were investigated.
