Essay

The work is dedicated to the synthesis of MI that have diketonates fragments and their application in the process of engrafted polymerization. The studied kinetic molecular-mass and gravimentric characteristics of polymerization of styrol and MMA in the block and in solutions, initiated MGD-Co. The obtained fragments contain MGD-Co and are the MI. The work suggests method of obtaining MI via the reaction of complex formation of so-polymer ligand styrol - MGD with salt of various metals. The method allows changing the number of fragments of diketon in MI in wide scope, to obtain MI with various metals in different valency state. The process of engrafting reveals multiple increase of m.m. MI obtained via method of the complex formation are more effective. They provide high rate of engrafting, greater variety of the engrafted monomer and higher m.m. of the engrafted co-polymers. It is shown that PS and PMMA have higher stability to the thermo-oxidizing destruction of polymers than the obtained at initiation of PB. The dissertation provides study on the bactericidal properties of MI and co-polymers. It was shown that depending on the type of microorganism, metal complexes of silver, copper, cobalt possess substantial bactericide activity.
