Research object. Economic processes, which affect the aspects of government control of prices on a coffee and determine a competitiveness in the world market of coffee which produce in Ethiopia. Research purpose. Ground of theoretical approaches and methodological positions of government control, and also practical recommendations in relation to pricing on a coffee in Ethiopia. Research methods. Analysis and synthesis, dialectical, the method of logical design, the system, is statistical, prognostication, supervision and theoretical generalization. Practical value of the got results. The results of theoretical-methodological researches of government control of prices found the embodiment at the decision of questions of the adequate normative-legal adjusting of prices in Ethiopia. Scientific novelty. The mechanism of government control of prices on a coffee taking into account the purposes of national economy of Ethiopia is first offered, which will allow newly to build realization of strategic directions of development of country. Introduction of transfertnoy price in the economy of Ethiopia which will be formed at advancement of commodity within the limits of international and transnational corporations and enterprises is offered, including between their subdivisions located in different countries.
