Dissertation is devoted the questions of diagnostics different forms of cross-bite, to the increase efficiency of orthodontic treatmrnt by development new constructions of orthodontic vehicles. Certainly prevalence of cross-bite among children and teenagers of Kiev school establishments in age from 6 to 17, the estimation possibilities of samself regulation this dentofascial anomaly is conducted. An inspection and treatment is conduxted 128 patients in age from 3?5 to 25 with functional, dentofascial and sceletal forms of cross-bite. The basic etiologie factors of development different forms of cross-bite are certain. The clinic diagnostic criteria of forms of cross-bite are developed, that card-chart of inspection of patient with a cross-bite. The new constructions of orthodontic vehicles are developed for treatment unilateral lingual and unilateral buccal cross-bite. The results of treatment the developed vehicles arew gave a positive result in 93,3% and 97%.
