Savchenko V. Elaboration and substantiation of the application of the material "KorSa-A" for making mouth protectors to the sportsmen of contact kinds of sports.

New elastic material "Korsa-A" for making mouth protectors to the sportsmen of comtact kinds of sports has been elaborated. Its toxicological hygienic indices and sanitary chemical ones correspond to the international standards ISO-4823. Technological indices of the suggested material meet the standards of Ukraine U 24.6-00481318-008-2002 as well. According to the results of sanitary and chemical examination material "KorSa-A" doesn't exceed any hygienic norms and standards. According to the list of all defined kinds of microorganisms of an oral cavity microbal colonization of mouth protectors made of "Korsa-A" material tends to be less in comparison with the mouth protectors made of "Boksil-ekstra" material. It has been also concluded that lowering of the indices of electroodontodiagnostics of anterior teeth pulp and their periodontium bloodstream doesn't depend on the material of mouth protector and the technology of its manufacturing. They are influenced greatly by paddy action of the mouth protector during the mechanical loading on the denture.
