Bila Y. Criminal responsibility for group crimes.

The thesis is devotedto the problems of criminal responsibility for group crimes. The lexical evolution of the word "group", the origin of the definition of "criminal group", the historical-legal aspect of the development of legal terms regulating responsibility for the commitment of group crimes are researched. On the base of a complex research, the essence of the types of group crimes fixed in the Criminal Code of Ukraine and in the criminal legislations of some foreign countries are exposed. A special attention is paid to the solution of problematic questions of qualification of group crimes and application of punishment to the accomplices.
