Krasota O. Legal regulation of activities of special institutions (schools) for juvenile delinquents in Ukraine (1964-1995)

Based on the study of normative legal sources and archive materials and documents the author made a comprehensive historical and legal analysis of legal regulation of activities of special institutions (schools) for juvenile delinquents in Ukraine in 1964-1995. Substantial attention was devoted to legal aspects of activities of law enforcement agencies in combating juvenile delinquency and to cooperation of special institutions (schools) for juvenile delinquents, and then social rehabilitation schools for juveniles with government institutions and public organizations on prevention of juvenile crime and juvenile delinquency. To improve functioning and activity of social rehabilitation schools for juveniles the author provides a number of recommendations in the shape of specific amendments to the laws currently in force.
