Biloshchytska S. Information technology planning and monitoring the academic work volume in higher education.

The thesis is dedicated to solving important scientific and technical problem which consists in developing methods and models to optimize the teaching load in the information technology planning and monitoring the students and lecturers academic work volumes. Completed system analysis and chosen the university managerial activities characteristics. Consider existing approaches, models, methods and means of planning and monitoring the educational process. We propose to use the process approach as the basic to university management systems. Developed information and functional components formal model of the planning and monitoring the academic work volumes according to education credit-modular system introduction. The academic work volume management scheme has been adduced. Chosen management components and given two backward linkages characteristic, which implementation requires the students and lecturers academic work inverse calculation method development. Developed the students and lecturers planned academic work volumes direct and inverse calculation methods. Implementation of these methods ensures quality training by optimizing the students and lecturers academic work volume. Established information technology planning and monitoring the students and lecturers academic work volumes (ITPMAWV) based on the methods and software developed in this thesis. The developed models, methods and tools implemented in several universities in Ukraine.
