Essay

Dissertation work is devoted to solving of optimal constructive decision choice problem of steel roof trusses on a preliminary design stage, from possible decisions space, accounting constructive, technological, economical and exploitation requirements. Alternatives may have differences in topology, geometry, elements cross-section types and connection one to each other, but have the same parameters, which contained in a technical design task. Choose process is based on a sequential analysis of variants; discrete-dimensional search of optimal geometry is based on a breadth-first process. Optimization and search is actualized using criteria of truss details weight, total cost, or a present value of unitized roof module of building. Method is realized as one stage optimal design automatic expert system. The efficiency of method application is shown on real problems of roof truss optimal choice solving examples in a tender condition
