Duda A. Circumstances that characterize the identity of the accused, as an element of the subject of proving in a criminal case

The thesis is devoted to the consideration of theoretical and practical issues that arise during the establishment and investigation of the circumstances that characterize the identity of the accused in a criminal case. A concept of the identity of the accused is investigated in the research, the circumstances which characterize it, presents the structure of the identity of the accused. The main directions of the establishment and investigation of the circumstances that characterize the identity of the accused of various categories are determined. The suggestions on possible ways to improve the investigative and judicial practices and to perfect the current Ukrainian legislation, in establishment and investigation of the circumstances that characterize the identity of the accused, are proved and formulated.
