Essay

The dissertation is devoted to elaboration of methods of synthesis of modified silicas with immobilized polyionenes and investigation of their adsorption properties with respect to anions of different elements. Inorganic adsorbents with immobilized polyionenes were synthesized by means of adsorption, in situ polymerization and using the sequential Menshutkin reaction in the surface layer of modified silica gel. It was established that developed methods of ionene immobilization impart well-expressed anion-exchange properties; synthesized adsorbents have high adsorption capacity and good kinetic properties for extraction of the anions from the water solutions. It was demonstrated that in acidic media synthesized modified silicas quantitatively extract the most of anions. The technique of the spectrophotometric determination of microquantities of anions of Мо(VI), W(VI), Cr(VI) and As(V) after their preconcentration on the silica surface was elaborated with the use of Bromopyrogallol Red. Possibilities of the X-ray fluorescence metal determination directly in the phase of adsorbent after extraction of anions of metals from the water solutions were studied. Key words: silica, immobilization, polyionene, Mo(VI), W(VI), Cr(VI), V(V), P(V), As(V)-containing anions, preconcentration.
