Zhyriakov O. The imperial direction of the post-Soviet Russian historiography of the Second World War

The work is dedicated to the consideration of the intellectual history of the imperial direction post-Soviet Russian historiography of the Second World War. The basic methodological principles of the imperial direction have been found out. The fundamental model of the industrial society has been accepted. Such methodical innovations as a method of the "alternative history", an algorithm and scopes of its application; specific requirements to the principle of objectivity have been considered. The base category of imperial direction of the "space, free of industrial relations" has been exposed and analysed. The genesis and essence of such significant hypotheses of the imperial direction as the "fundamentality of global wars" in industrial society, "Рах America", "double plot", "corruptibility" and "commanders of peace time".
