Silenko V. Criminal responsibility for smuggling: comparative-legal research

The thesis contains a complex comparative-legal analysis of problems of theoretic and applied character related to criminal responsibility for smuggling. Based on studies of historical genesis of such phenomenon as smuggling and ruled by personal empirical research and criminal-legislative analysis of this crime, the author suggest a series of changes into national criminal legislation. Mainly these concern improvement of construction of article 201 "Smuggling" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and introduction to the mentioned Code of new article 263-1 "Smuggling of potentially dangerous items circulation of which either restricted or banned".
