The object of investigation is strategic planning of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises. The purpose of paper is the elaboration of theoretical grounds and practical recommendations for the development of strategic planning of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises. The following methods of investigation have been used by the author: methods of comparison, systematization, generalization, statistic analysis, expert evaluation, induction and deduction. The theoretical value lies: in methodical recommendations for the evaluation of the level of administrative decisions in the strategic planning of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises; the procedure of realization strategic planning of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises, the classification of strategic planning and administrative decisions in management of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises. The scientific novelty lies in: the methodical recommendations for the evaluation of the level of informational support of the strategic planning of innovative activity of machine building enterprises on the principles of authenticity of information and diversity of sources and methods of getting it; the methodical recommendations for the evaluation of administrative decisions in the strategic planning of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises. The subject of investigation are theoretical, methodological and applied positions for the development of the strategic planning of innovative activity of machine building enterprises. The authors proposals have been used for the development of strategic planning of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises. The results of investigation may be used by the chiefs of machine-building enterprises, certain innovative projects and funds. The sphere of implementing authors proposals are the machine building enterprises.
