Kanzyuba I. Optimization of prognosis, diagnostics and treatment's methods in patients with severe eye contusions

Object - severe eye ball contusion, complicated by subconjunctival scleral ruptures. Purpose- to optimize the prognosis, diagnostics and treatment's methods in patients with severe eye contusions, based on new scientific data. Methods: visometry, perimetry, ophthalmoscopy, biomicroscopy, tonometry, diaphanoscopy, computer tomography of the orbit, ultrasound diagnostics, immunological investigations, biochemical investigations, histomorphological methods; statistical analysis methods, mathematic and conceptual modelling. Probable rupture localizations and its occurrence, depended on the place of injuring force, have been defined , the character of changes in eye ball was defined too in case of scleral scar; the necessity of scleral fixation by implantat has been confirmed. Knowledge about informative immunological and biochemical criteria, concerning inflammatory complications prognosis are added. Mathematic model of eye ball has been offered on the base of finite quantity method. Laboratory criteria of inflammatory complications prognosis are offered too. The results of investigations are adopted at Donetsk Regional ophthalmotraumatological center "Eye microsurgery", study process of ophthalmological department IPGE faculty of Donetsk NMU and Lugansk SMU, ophthalmic departments of Gоrlovka Hospital N3, Khartsis Central City Hospital and LKPU" City Hospital №1" Enakievo.
