Karpyak А. Political adaptation in the system of political relations (theoretical-methodological analysis).

The dissertation under review presents a complex analysis of the basic parameters of political adaptation process (structure, subjects, objects, levels, factors) and reveals their meaning in modern social and political processes. The concept "political adaptation" and its functional designation in the context of political socialization by means of the comparative analysis of the concepts: adaptation, social adaptation, socialization, political adaptation have been clarified. The dissertation under review deals with political adaptation processes. Special attention is paid to their variety, particularly to primary ones - self-esteem, aiming, political motivation, norms, etc. They explain adaptive relations of a personality with political surrounding in their dialectic mutual connection and interaction. The multileveled system of political adaptation of a person and political groups by various methods and means of their realization in politics is analyzed. The dissertation deals with political and legal aspects of regulation of political and adaptive interaction between power and personality, dialogue forms of political participation of citizens in formation of state policy based on principles of glasnost, equal cooperation and mutual responsibility.
