Marusyk U. Improvement in efficiency of maintaining therapy of school age children with asthma in the stage of remission

The evaluation of bronchial asthma in school age children in the period between attacs has been performed considering clinic and anamnestetic particularities, indices of non-specific hyperresponsiveness of bronchi to histamine inhallation and physical activity together with metabolic activity of eosinophilic and neutrophilic blood granulocytes, humoral component of immune system, atopy markers and inflammation respond. Based on the complex examination of school children with bronchial asthma, a method of defining of the degree of disease allowing to objectify the evaluation of the degree of bronchial asthma to give grounds for the anti-inflammatory treatment is propound. Placebo controlled blind method was used twice to evaluate the efficiency of Nucleinat as part of the complex anti-inflammatory treatment of bronchial asthma in children based on clinical, immunology and spyrography indices. After Nucleinat had been included into basic treatment of bronchial asthma in children, the level of control over disease got higher, the evidence of which was the decrease in frequency of clinical signs of the disease as well as hyperresponsiveness of bronchi, indices of metabolic activity of neutrophilic and eosinophilic blood granulocytes, humoral component of immune system, , atopy reactivity and tissue markers of the inflammatory process in the human organism.
