The dissertation is devoted the decision of actual scientific and technical task - to increase the firmness to the wear of wheels by the improvement of technology of their manufacturing. Complex technology of increasing the firmness to the wear of wheels was developed, which is used at CR and DR. Intercommunication between composition of coverage material and its operating properties is got, that allows to influence on the firmness, capacity and technology of wheels making of mobile composition of railways.
