Essay

Investigations were conducted by means of the methods of system analysis and mathematical modeling. Perspective directions of improvement of construction and design methods of the current collecting devices. An advanced method of determination of laws of motion of the current collecting devices as spatial mechanical system. The mathematical model of current collectors functioning at different movement speeds of the motorized rolling stock is developed. Results of the thesis can be used at designing new current collecting devices of the motorized rolling stock and improving existing ones.
