Essay

The dissertation is devoted to study of the regularities of incommensurate structure evolution in the stochastic mode of N(CH3)4]2MeCl4 (Me = Cu, Zn, Fe) dielectric crystals. It has been found that in incommensurate phase the multimode state of modulated structure exists. It is characterized by superposition of the existing modulation waves in the whole crystal sample as well as blocked crystal structure with different wave vectors in blocks. It has been shown that in conditions of blocked structure the incommensurate superstructure transforms to stochastic mode and chaotic phase appeares.
