Object - methods of calculation of grounds and foundations of low-rise buildings, erected on expansive soils of Country between two rivers, in Sudane. The purpose of dissertation work is a study of Sudanese expansive soils, improvement and development of new methods of calculations and constructions of grounds and foundations, providing effective erection and exploitation of buildings and constructions. Research methods are an analysis and generalization of experience of planning and building of buildings and constructions in Sudane, Ukraine and foreign, and also existent positions and norms, methodical going near the calculations of fundamental constructions on expansive soils. Methods of mathematical statistics - cluster, factor, correlation-regression analyses. Simulation techniques, directed experiment on a model. Results (theoretical and practical): the normative values of durability descriptions of local expansive soils are set depending on their physical properties and swelling degree. The method of zoning of the probed territory is offered. Empiric expressions are got and charts are built for determination of coefficients of bearing strength of grounds and correction coefficients. The analogical are built accepted in foreign project practice correlation dependences for conducting of evaluation calculations of deformations of getting up of expansive soils by a north ale of d'Zhezir. Generalization, systematization and analysis of data of inzhenerno-geologicheskikh researches, characterizing expansive soils and buildings and constructions used in the real planning, is conducted. Improved: method of calculation of bearing strength of grounds, using the generalized formula, taking into account, due to introduction of empiric coefficients, properties of soils, form, depth and corner of rejection of the vertical loading, operating on foundation. Method of treatment of sciagraphy researches of mineralogical composition of soils. Industry - building.
