Dovhenko Y. Statistical analysis of the grain market of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to statistical analysis of patterns of functioning and development of the national grain market. It discloses the nature and characteristics of the grain market as an object of statistical study. Factors influencing the status and trends of the grain market in species basis are improved; the system is analyzed informatively- methodological support of its analysis, grounded system of indicators. Current trends of the main features of the national grain market, which enabled it to assess balance and stability in the context of food safety are detected. Analysis of the world grain market is carried out, world production and world balance is estimated, the correlation relationship between the prices of corn and carry-over is found. Ukraine's place in world grain market is identified in the context of global trends; export potential of the country is estimated. A model of balance to determine the optimal volume of exports for the full terms of domestic needs and save the maximum food safety is proposed.
