The dissertation deals with the historical and juridical analysis of the business subject activity in the Eastern Galychyna and Bukovyna as a part of Austrian-Hungarian Empire (1867 – 1918). The Austrian legislation of the end of the XIXth – the beginning of the XXth century is analised for the first. This legislation determined the legal of the business subject. Classification of the business subject according to differend criteria is carried out, types and organizational forms of the subjects are found out. The stages of the business subject’s formation and their activity are studied.
