The dissertation is devoted politological analysis of essence of Regions associations (zemlyatstva), with the purpose of a finding of their place and a role in a modern Ukrainian society, features of their influence on formation of civil culture. The impact of Regions associations on the formation of political culture of civil society is the impact of consolidation and development of those communities components of civil culture on the national values, to promote social, cultural development and preservation of traditions of Ukrainian's Regions.
