Essay

The thesis is aimed at improving the existing and the development of new resource- and energy- saving technologies of the extension of life time of the converter lining and lance devices for their operation in relation to the raw materials terms of the Ukrainian metallurgical industry. Using modern methods of physical and numerical modeling we have obained a new credible information about the mechanism peculiarities, hydro and gas dynamical and heat- and mass- transportable regularities of slag scull coating on the converter lining with the help of proposed lance design, which are adapted to blowing of final slag by nitrogen jets and flare torkret filling. Concerning the proposed repair technology of converter lining by slag blowing in combination with a flare torkret filling of cheap gunite lining the model of dissociation of raw powdery and magnesia materials in torkret-torch has been worked out as well as the peculiarities of torkret-torch spreading in the working space of the converter have been stated.
