The thesis covers theoretical and methodological aspects of organizational economic mechanism of small business support and development functioning and improvement. It analyses the essence of a small enterprise from the point of its qualitative and quantitative characteristics and socio-economic functions in Ukraine. The development of business infrastructure as a perspective direction of small business support has been named and the creation of the subcontracting and partnership center has been offered. The methodical approach to the use and estimation of outsourcing efficiency at enterprises has been improved. The model of a small enterprise activity monitoring has been offered.
