The thesis presents the experimental material related to the inclusion in the diets of fattening young pigs of full value mixed silages together with the amaranth green mass with 30%, 55%, 75% nutritive value under the conditions of Ukrainian Polissya. The paper also considers the yielding capacity, chemical composition of the amaranth green mass according to the phases of its growth and development. The thesis presents the recipes of mixed silages and determines the optimal quantities of the amaranth green mass with respect to the conditions of Ukrainian Polissya.
