Essay

The thesis presents the results of a complex solving of the problem of crop protection in a grain-beet rotation and reduction of the level of soil weedintss with weed seeds under conditions of the right-bank part of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. Rational combination of crop alternation in rotation with the system of successive sprayings with herbicides provided a reduction of the level of weed infestation in pea, winter wheat, sugar beet and spring barley by 64,5-73,5 %, 77,4-85,9 %, 80,9-90,5 % and 67,7-76,6 %, correspondingly. The reduction of potential soil weediness (0-5 cm) was 7,3-10,8 %, of germinable geeds-by 10,9-13,4 %, including.Conducting crop protection from weeds provided saving crop yields of the rotation by 71,4-80,2 % of the maximum possible level achieved in experiments. The use of a rational protection system has allowed to obtain profits from 2908 to 3049 hrs/ha with profitability level of 149 % and 140 %.
