Essay

Subject of research - the process of soil fertility change depending on the basic cultivation with the use by-products for fertilizer, field crop grain yield and quality formation. The purpose - the determination of the most effective basic soil cultivation systems in short-term grain rotation using the by-products for fertilizer. The methods are field stationary experiment, laboratory, computational and comparative, mathematical and statistical. In the Ukrainian Forest-Steppe of grey forest soil, an influence of the long-term application of basic cultivation systems with the use of by-products as a fertilizer upon the soil fertility indexes, weed infestation, produce yield and quality formation is revealed. The recommendations to production are elaborated concerning the differentiated basic soil cultivation systems use in grain rotation with the application of by-products for fertilizer and conducting ploughing 20-22 cm deep under peas, disking 10-12 cm deep under winter wheat and spring barley, chisel loosening up to 45 cm deep under grain maize what secures the increase in crop rotation productivity by 5-10% about long-term nonmoldboard cultivations. The research results are introduced in 2008 at the Private Agricultural Enterprise "Agrarne" of the Volodarka district of the Kyiv region over the total area 660 ha. The field of application is the agricultural production.
