Essay

Optimal methods of complex treatment of unresectable metastatic liver cancer with application of radiofrequency ablation, electrochemical lysis and hepatic artery chemoembolization are presented in the scientific work. In prospective research direct comparison of stated minimally invasive methods is made by the author for the first time. Data of 146 patients with unresectable liver metastases became material for the research. Direct and remote results of minimally invasive surgical operations' application in cytoreductive surgery were studied. Proposed variant of complex treatment allowed to increase total probability of patients survival from (6,6 ± 4,5) up to (12,5 ± 7,9) months and one-, two- and three-year survival rates from 24; 16 and 0 % up to 68; 31 і 13 % (P < 0,001) at 9,5 % complication rates. General organism reactions at application of radiofrequency ablation and hepatic artery chemoembolization with the definition of prooxidant-antioxidant balance state are studied for the first time.
