The thesis work is dedicated to the issue of improving the power and technology factors of the cultivator operation due to enabling the horizontal rotation of a symmetrical cutting hoe. The theoretical prerequisites of the substantiation of the surface tillage cultivator hoe parameters have been regarded. The theoretical and experimental dependence exponents of the impact of the proposed cultivator hoe constructive and kinematics performance on the power and quality factors of performing the operating procedure of continuous surface tillage have been obtained. The rational constructive parameters of the active cultivator hoe have been determined.
