Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of geometric properties of functors in the asymptotic category. The problem of metrization of spaces of the form F(X) for defined functor F is solved. It is proved that the considered functor preserves the class of metric spaces of finite asymptotic dimension. It is proved that the functor of G-symmetric power preserves the class of spaces of absolute extensors for the class of spaces of finite asymptotic Assuad-Nagata dimension and the finite asymptotic dimension in the sense of Gromov.
