Essay

The thesis is a study of international experience and national security practices, compiling survey results on the creation and development of the institute of safety of participants of criminal justice in some foreign countries and Ukraine. Based on the analysis of theoretical concepts, laws and practices the concepts of "protection" and "security" are divided. Proposals for improving the existing legislation, namely concerning the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, the Criminal Code of Practice, the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On the security of persons involved in criminal proceedings" are formulated.
