Krasnov V. 3. Clinico-experimental substantiation of a choice of the occlusal scheme for complete dentures in treatment of patients with full loss of a teeth

The dissertation deals with increasing the efficiency of prosthetic treatment of stomatological patients with full loss of a teeth by optimisation of a choice of the occlusal scheme in manufacturing of complete dentures (CD) for improvement of masticatory pattern, improvement of complete denture stabilisation during chewing and rising of chewing efficiency. The regularities between different types of оcclusal schemes in CD, parametres of chewing cycles, CD mobility during chewing (concerning an denture foundation area) and chewing efficiency in patients with full loss of a teeth and different degree of an atrophy of alveolar crests are established. We are developed the optoelectronic device for research of chewing movements of the lower jaw, the method for measurement of CD mobility (concerning an denture foundation area) during chewing and computer programs for construction of graphic representations of chewing movements of the lower jaw and complete denture movements during chewing in time and space are made. We investigated the influence of different occlusal schemes on CD stabilisation, function of chewing and we developed the method of a choice of the most effective occlusal scheme with the account of specific features of an denture foundation area in patients with full loss of a teeth.
