Essay

Object - subretinal neovascular membranes. Purpose - to increase the efficacy of diagnostics of patients with subretinal neovascular membranes by application of new method as long-wave fundusgraphy with transscleral near-infrared illumination of fundus. Methods - ophthalmoscopy, eye fundus color photo, fluorescence angiography, optical coherence tomography, long-wave fundusgraphy. Apparatus - fundus camera "Opton", optical coherence tomography "STRATUS ОСТ 3000", device for long-wave fundusgraphy. The new device, new method of eye fundus imaging and quantitative estimation of fundus images method have been worked out. There was established that long-wave fundusgraphy allows to visualize choroidal vessels and subretinal neovascular membranes without contrasting substances. There was showed that long-wave fundusgraphy allows to precise the morphometric characteristics of subretinal neovascular membranes after photodynamic therapy. The results are adopted at the Filatov Institute. The sphere of application: medicine, ophthalmology.
