Bezuglyi A. Prevention, diagnostic and treatment of complications after reconstruction of flexor tendon in Zone II

The work is devoted to decision of an actual problem of orthopedics and traumatology - improvement of results of treatment of patients with flexor tendons injures. The results of diagnostics and treatment of 120 patients with flexor tendons injuries of 231 fingers in zone II were studied. Application of the offered way of preventive maintenance of effect of a tenotomy with two-stage reconstruction has allowed to raise functional results of treatment. It is offered new transossal suture, which unloading a zone of contact between tendon and bone which considerably reduces risk of complications. Application preventive separate splinting of fingers in early postoperative period has reduced degree of formation of contractures in interphalanx joints. The estimation of the remote results of treatment was made by J. Strickland. As a whole application of new techniques has raised functional results of treatment on 7,9% (? =0,19; p <0,05). The most significant factors influencing functional result of treatment are gravity of trauma and elements of its burdening among which on the foreground there are contractures in PIP and DIP joints. The US-diagnostic in the postoperative period gives the chance to allocate group of risk of unsatisfactory results.
