Galeliuk M. Factors and strategies of machine building enterprises competitiveness

In the thesis the investigation of competitiveness factors analyzing and strategy formation of machine building companies is realized. A research object is a process of providing of competitiveness of machine-building enterprises. The aim of the work lies in the theoretical, methodical and applied positions from the analysis of factors forming of strategies of competitiveness of machine-building enterprises taking into account influence of these factors. The aim of dissertation research is development of methodological and applied principles of analysis of factors and forming of strategies of competitiveness of machine-building enterprises. The author used methods of comparative analysis, systematization and generalization, statistical analysis and analytical methods of collection and estimation of information, expert estimations, economic and mathematical design. The system of terms describing competitive market position of the firm is formed. Methods of the product and firm competitiveness evaluation are generalized. Tendencies of the Ukrainian machine building industry development are analyzed. The term "firm's competitiveness factors" is defined and classification of such factors is provided. The level of Ukrainian competitiveness and its influence on the enterprises activity is analyzed. Specific factors influencing competitiveness of the domestic machine building industry are marked out. The terms "competitiveness management" and "competitiveness strategy" are defined and the cycle process of competitiveness strategy formation is worked out. The factors influencing competitiveness strategy formation are analyzed. Specific of competitiveness management of machine building firms is analyzed and the set of macro- and microeconomic actions of their competitiveness improvement are given. The sphere of author's recommendations application is the enterprises of native machine-building complex.
