The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive research of the usage of indirect evidence in criminal proceedings of Ukraine. Analysis of theoretical issues of proving with the help of indirect evidence, indirect evidence systems, evidence verification are defined and revealed; the basic tactical methods of work with indirect evidence during investigative actions conduct are singled out and substantiated; the basic procedural peculiarities of collecting, verification and evaluation of indirect evidence are clarified; basic rules of its usage are presented and generalized.
