Saliy A. Faith as gnoseological category in philosophy of Martin Buber and Lev Shestov.

The object is philosophical conceptions of Martin Buber and Lev Shestov. The aim is a systematic, comparative analysis of philosophical conceptions of Martin Buber and Lev Shestov. The methods are principles of scientific analysis, historical method, comparison, system. The dissertation is historic and philosophic investigation of site of faith category in views of Martin Buber and Lev Shestov and its gnoseological status. The complex comparative analysis of faith category in philosophic elaborations of Martin Buber and Lev Shestov has been realized in the present work and it has been proved that gnoseological positions of these philosophers have disposition to faith consideration as not only as religious formula but as one of the most important methods of perception, which can be apprehended as mystic perception. It can be concluded that in doctrines of philosophers the faith had exceptional meaning as method of human perception and important element of world outlook forming.
