This dissertation presents the study of the pedagogical technologies forming communicative competence of the senior pupils in the process of the Humanities studies. The main idea of the concept "communicative competence" and its structural construction are revealed. The psychological and pedagogical conditions as well as the ways for the usage of the Humanities' potential in the process of the communicative competence formation are determined. The effectiveness of pedagogical technology forming communicative competence of the senior pupils - dialogic communication in the process of teaching and upbringing - is theoretically proved and experimentally verified. The personal activity approach is basic for it. It determines the equal cooperation of teachers and pupils as the participants of educational activity and communication, aimed at joint solving of the communicative problems. The personality's trend is also very important, with world outlook as the effective means of communicative motivation challenge being its basis. Experimental studies proved the effectiveness of the suggested pedagogical technologies, the feasibility of using them in the learning process.
