Prosody of the speaking voice, lexically represented in the English verbal picture of the world. The aim of the work is finding and analyzing means of verbalizing prosodic characteristics. Methods: quntitative, linguistic description. For the first time, typology of lexical representation and multi faceted analysis of prosodic characteristics, are offered. Implementation: in theory and practice of teaching rhetorical phonetics, linguopoetics, sociolinguistics.
