The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of the theoretical and methodological bases of regulation and management principles of the forming of the competitiveness of the economy, improvement of the methods of estimation of the effectiveness and mechanisms of the management of the competitiveness.Real approaches according to the forming regulation and management principles for the definition of competitiveness advantages and levels of economics competitiveness at the different stages of the market reforms are considered. Organization and management principles which help to open the reserves and all the potential possibilities as for rise of the effectiveness practical realization in the state management transformation changes of the globalization processes are followed.The estimate of the branch's condition of the competitiveness and the analysis of the competitiveness of the regions of Ukraine's development are made. The ways of the guarantee of the national economy's competitiveness are grounded.
