Essay

The thesis is dedicated to raising the effectiveness of treatment for ovarian cancer III-IV stages, by developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness NPCT based on clinical examination, ultrasound, biochemical and morphological characteristics. It is found that the decrease in size of tumor conglomerate to 60-20 % of metastatic tumors in the recto-vaginal septum up to 70-20 %, the disappearance of ascites and pleural fluid (according to clinical data and ultrasound), the decrease in level of total glycosaminoglycans (GAG) in the serum of up to 75-70 %, chondroitin-sulfate to 80-65 %, fractions of GAG: II - up to 75-65 % of the baseline, I, III fractions and correlations of total GAG and their fractions to the norm, and the content of the CA125 to 9,6-3,6 % of its initial value demonstrate NPСT effectiveness for patients having ovarian cancer of III-IV stages in the process of its using. The effectiveness of treatment significantly increased the level of efficiency in the group without surgery to the level of efficiency in the group with the operation of the first phase of treatment. This can be seen as a positive result, given that patients receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy at the first stage of treatment have more severe clinical course.
