Essay

Research subject - process of two-stage air separation of grain mixes in closed air-flow. Research object - technological effectiveness increase of grain clearing by development and ground of air separating system of inertial uniflow separator. Research methods. Theoretical researches are carried out with use of theoretical mechanics, differentical and integral calculus and mathematical modeling. Experimental research results are processed with use of probability theory and mathematical statistics. The thesis gave subsequent development to mathematical formulation of stochastic process of particles movement in air-flow subject to their aerodynamic properties. It was first carried out the statistic modeling of grain mix distribution into fractions defecting quantative parametres of separation quality estimation. It was first established the regularities of grain mixes movement which allow to ground rational parametres of material introduction system into aspiration channel. It was experimentally received the regularities of basic parametres influence of aspirating system of inertial uniflow grain separator. The elements of separator design are asserted by two patents for invention of Ukraine.
