Ruban O. Financial mechanism of joint-stock capital functioning in Ukraine

The topical questions related to joint-stock capital forming and circulation as well as to the financial mechanism of joint-stock capital functioning are studied. The structure-and-function chart of the financial mechanism of joint-stock capital functioning is worked out; the peculiarities of joint-stock capital circulation are defined in terms of the global financial crisis. The economic essence of "joint-stock capital" notions is described; main joint-stock capital functions are defined; its structure is detailed. It is proven that the most correct approach to determining the fair value of the joint-stock capital is the expert evaluation method. A model bringing together final expert evaluations is developed. Based on the analysis of foreign experience and of the joint-stock capital formation and development in Ukraine, some propositions concerning improvement of institutional bases of joint-stock capital forming and circulation are worked out as well as recommendations concerning improvement of the financial mechanism of joint-stock capital functioning in Ukraine.
