A Philosophy Doctor of Technical Sciences thesis in specialty 05.12.02 - Telecommunication systems and networks. National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute", Kiev, 2010. The method for estimation of QoS of information steams in multiservice networks is developed in thesis. The work of commutation center on provider edge (PE) was approved. The method of distribution of information steams between output lines was devised. It allows transmitting requests from all base station not over one pseudowire (PW) but over all output PW taking into account the upper bounds to buffer-overflow probabilities in output queues. Therefore efficiency of transmission of hybrid traffic in provider edge of packet switched network is rising. It ensures required label of QoS for video traffic and for Internet traffic. The weighted round robin (WRR) algorithm is approved. It allows efficiently processing unforeseen peak of the load which is typical for self-similar traffic at the expense of dynamic change the load size which can be directed from the high priority queue to the low priority queue. The application of obtained science and practical results brings to solve the problem of processing multiservice traffic in complex, allow for type of traffic and occupancy of queues output channels to decrease packet loss.
