The dissertation work analyses the problem of formation and development of romantic ideology at the beginning of XIX-th century in Ukrainian and Russian spiritual culture. The main aspects of the natural philosophy formation made by the prominent Ukrainian scientist, academic Danylo Vellansky, are examined. Advancing stage transition from natural philosophy to romantic ideology is analyzed in the manuscript. The main stages of that process are investigated in the context of development and integration F.Schelling's ideas in Russian and Ukrainian culture.
