The model of construction of regressive model of prognosis of profitability is improved, adapted model of Brauna to prognostication of result of economic activity, on the basis of the methodical going near potential, efficiency and development of economic activity, a "strategic set" is formed for an effective strategic management and avoidance of problem situations on machine-building enterprises, grounded system of mechanisms of economic activity of machine-building enterprises
